70th Anniversary Celebration
The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce celebrated 70 years of service to the Calabasas business community and beyond! The community-wide birthday celebration honored the Chamber’s rich history and accomplishments in supporting the vibrant Calabasas since 1955.

Calabasas, CA — The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce held a special community-wide birthday party on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 6pm to 10pm at the Calabasas Country Club for the 70th Anniversary Celebration. Presented by the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Poppy Bank, Waste Management, Calabasas Style Magazine, Mark L. Levinson of Family Law, Valley News Group, and Cadillac of Calabasas.
Consisting of long-time members, former Chamber members, local businesses, and the Calabasas Community, over 100 guests gathered for the evening of reflection, networking, and celebration.
Prior to the start of the main program, guests had the opportunity to indulge in a BBQ buffet, view the history display tables, add a note to the Chamber’s anniversary card, grab an exclusive birthday party drink, or mingle with one another.
The program opened with a welcome from Past Immediate Chairman Mark L. Levinson and introduction from the Chamber’s CEO/President Lisa Clayden. Welcoming dignitaries and thanking the sponsors, a congratulatory atmosphere surrounded the event space.
The Chamber was presented with certificates from the representatives of elected officials to celebrate the 70th anniversary. Congresswoman Julia Brownley was represented by Julia Luis. Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin was represented by Nancy Frawley. 3rd District Supervisor Lindsey Horvath was represented by Daniell Vicente.
The Chamber honored the following 30-year Milestone Members for their dedication and contributions to the Chamber and the Calabasas Community: The Acorn; James R. Bozajian; Executive-Suite Services; Inc., Gelson’s Markets; and Las Virgenes Municipal Water District.
James R. Bozajian joined the stage to give a short history lesson and was then followed by an anniversary video revisiting the Chamber’s great accomplishments and unforgettable memories.
As soon as the video finished, a birthday cake showcasing the Chamber’s current 70th celebration logo was rolled onto the dance floor with candles lit for all to sing happy birthday, concluding the presentations.
For the remainder of the evening, guests were welcomed onto the dancefloor that was DJ’d by Spotlight LA and also had opportunities to win a series of raffle prizes including: a Poppy Bank gift basket; Chamber wine basket; Jewelry by Reetz; a commemorative license plate cover; two tickets to the Chamber’s July 17th Networking Luncheon; and one ticket to the August Mayoral Luncheon.
The 70th Anniversary Celebration was presented by the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce, and we generously thank the amazing Elite, Premier, Friend, and Donor sponsors for making the night one to remember.
