The presentation will offer a discussion of the most relevant and significant retinal conditions that affect seniors, including age-related macular degeneration, hypertensive retinopathy, retinal artery and vein occlusions, flashes & floaters, and diabetic retinopathy.  The prevalence of each condition, how they present in everyday life, what can be done to prevent them or at least minimize damage and maximize visual outcome in terms of the latest in treatment protocols will be reviewed.  The discussion will be followed by a Q & A session related to these or any other conditions the attendees would like to ask about.
